IEEE ITSC 2023 is over

It has been a pleasure to host the entire ITS community in Bilbao, enjoying several days of interesting technical discussions, enjoyable social activities and good food 🙂 We the organization feel rewarded and very thankful for the positive feedback received in the last few days.

We are in the final stretch for IEEE ITSC 2023. Get ready for the Workshops, Panels, Sessions, Keynotes and all the conference contents by checking the final version of the agenda in INFOVAYA or in the corresponding conference website pages for the conference and workshops.

Information about the schedule of every day of the conference, sessions, presentations and a search tool have been made available in the conference website. Find them in the “Program” menu above!

INSTRUCTIONS TO UPLOAD THE FINAL VERSIONS OF ACCEPTED WORKS:

Once decisions have been notified to the authors, detailed instructions to register for the conference and submit the final versions of accepted papers have been published under the “Contribute” menu of the ITSC 2023 website.

NOTIFICATION DATE: JULY 12th (STRICT)

Due to the unprecedented number of submissions (>1,600) and the difficulty to collect valuable expert feedback for all contributions, the program committee has decided to extend slightly the acceptance/rejection notification date to July 12th (STRICT).

NEW NOTIFICATION DATE: JULY 10th

We the ITSC 2023 committee are fully committed to ensuring a high-quality peer review process. Due to the unexpectedly high number of submissions (>1,600), the organizing committee has decided to postpone the acceptance/rejection notification date to July 10th. Advance registration deadlines will be correspondingly delayed.

REGISTRATION FEES HAVE BEEN UPDATED!

The ITSC 2023 organizing committee is fully committed to supporting the massive attendance of the ITS community to the event. To support our commitment and acknowledging numerous requests in this regard, updated registration fees have been published on the conference website. Please note that most updated fees are reduced with respect to the previous registration policy, and that now all fees include 21% VAT.

Already registered ITSC 2023 participants will be contacted by the conference secretariat to proceed with the refund of the fee difference between the previous fees and the updated ones.

REGISTRATION PORTAL AVAILABLE!

The registration portal for attendees to ITSC 2023 is already available. Do not forget to register!!!

NEW EXTENSION OF THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE (FINAL): May 28th, 2023.

After an upsurge of requests received by the organization committee, we have decided to grant a new submission deadline extension for all kind of papers: May 28th, 2023, 23:59:59 Pacific Time. This final deadline is strict (!!!): no extensions will be granted.

Special sessions and workshop papers must be submitted via Papercept, using the code of the selected special session or workshop. Regular papers must also be submitted via Papercept without using any code in the process.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED!

After multiple requests, the organization committee has decided to extend the submission deadline of the conference to May 22nd, 2023. This new deadline is strict: no further extensions will be granted.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS CLOSED

After closing the Call For Proposals we are currently evaluating the different sessions submitted. The lists of Approved Special Sessions, Workshops and Tutorials are already published in the Contribute Menu. The papercept link for special sessions papers and workshops is already live and running and contributions are accepted using the code of the target Special Session and Workshop.

Regular track papers can also be submitted via the Papercept link for the submissions.

CONFERENCE FORMAT

Please remember that the current pandemic regulations are favorable for a fully on-site event, so unless the situation gets worse in the following months, we will proceed as such. Therefore, we will not support a “hybrid collaboration” if this implies setting up the means for attending the conference remotely.

The 26th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC 2023) is the annual flagship conference sponsored by the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society. IEEE ITSC 2023 welcomes articles and presentations in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems, conveying new developments in theory, analytical and numerical simulation and modeling, experimentation, advanced deployment and case studies. ITSC 2023 particularly invites and encourages prospective authors to share their work, findings, perspectives and developments as related to implementation and deployment of advanced ITS applications.
